Advisory services

We stay in your corner long after the policy is signed.

Placing a policy is only part of what we do. Our advisory services ensure your coverage actually holds up — at claims time, during risk inspections, and at renewal.

01

Claims Management

The true value of an insurance program is realised at the time of a claim. Our dedicated team combines technical expertise, strong insurer relationships and proactive communication to deliver seamless claim experiences, from the moment an incident occurs to final settlement.

Who this is for

Any business facing a property loss, liability claim, or business interruption event. Also available as standalone advisory even for insurance programs not placed by Visista, per IRDAI guidelines.

Standalone

Independent claims consultancy

We also support clients on a standalone advisory basis, even for insurance programs that were not placed by Visista. If you're facing a complex claim and need an experienced advocate, we can step in at any stage, in line with IRDAI regulatory guidelines.

02

Risk Inspection

Risk, seen clearly, is risk controlled. We bring structure and visibility to your operational exposures through disciplined on-site inspections and technical evaluation, enabling better insurance decisions and stronger risk management outcomes.

Who this is for

Manufacturing units, plant operators, project sites, and any business seeking better insurability. Particularly valuable ahead of program renewal or following an incident.

03

Claims Consultancy

A standalone service that handles claims for clients even where Visista is not the broker on record. Most policyholders believe that once a risk is covered, the claim settles automatically. In practice, claim outcomes depend less on coverage and more on documentation quality, procedural accuracy and claim-handling discipline from day one.

We take over end-to-end responsibility to secure the maximum compensation due under a covered peril — following a structured process from intimation until the claim amount reaches the insured's bank account.

Adequacy of Sum Insured

Assets are too often insured at gross book values carried in the fixed asset register. Those figures reflect historical cost less depreciation — not what it would cost to rebuild or replace the same asset today. The gap surfaces only at claim time, as an average clause deduction.

We validate reinstatement values across your asset base, applying replacement-cost indices, escalation and installation loadings, so your sum insured reflects reality. The outcome is a programme where you are neither underinsured at a loss nor overpaying premium year after year.

Who this is for

Any business with a material asset base — manufacturing plants, warehouses, project sites and utilities. Most valuable ahead of renewal, after a capex cycle, or where the asset register has not been revalued in years.

Asset register review

We work from your fixed asset register, mapping each class to the right valuation basis rather than a single blanket factor.

Reinstatement valuation

Replacement cost indexed to today, with freight, duty, erection and commissioning costs built back in where they apply.

Average clause exposure

A clear view of the proportionate deduction you would face at claim time on today's declared values.

Renewal recommendations

Declared values to carry into renewal, with the escalation clause and basis of settlement wording to match.

Why these services matter for your business

Claims and risk advisory aren't standalone offerings — they're part of a continuous cycle that makes your insurance program stronger over time.
